BloonsTD6 Tips

By HIDEY_RUNNYpigs

If you are struggling to play BTD6 and want to get better at the game then this article is for you. I will go through where you should place your monkeys, how to upgrade them, and many other tips that you may not know.

Firstly, I will be talking about where to place your monkeys and how to upgrade them. In the early game, your strategy should revolve around your hero or another monkey, for example the druid. This means that you should place the monkey where the bloons will go through the most. By this I mean the amount of times that they will pass the monkey. This is because it gives the monkey the most chances to hit the bloons. My next tip is to learn the rounds and when cammo, lead and ceramic bloons come. This is crucial as it allows you to upgrade your monkeys accordingly.

Next is heroes, heroes are one of the main things in BTD6 and should be put down as soon as possible, this is because it allows them to earn XP as the round goes on, causing them to level up. I would recommend Sauda as her attack speed is extremely fast and her ability can block a bloon that is about to exit the map. One more bonus tip is that if you are about to lose, leave and reopen the save to continue from the round before but be warned that if you do this in CHIMPS you won’t be able to get the black border.

Last but not least is Monkey Knowledge. Monkey knowledge (MK) can give you boosts during a game. These boosts are earned through monkey knowledge. Knowledge points can be applied to a tree of Monkey Knowledge to receive the buff. If you are wondering why monkey knowledge buffs aren’t working in CHIMPS, this is because all buffs are disabled in the game mode, testing your true skill. I would recommend putting your MK points in extra dart pops (primary), mo’ monkey money (magic), naval upgrades (military), mana shield (magic, at the bottom right) and better sell deals (support). Getting all these upgrades won’t take too long as you gain MK as you level up.

I really hope that this article was able to help you become better at BTD6, but if you are still stuck I would recommend searching some tutorials online, I would recommend GameSeed for how to beat challenges and Ethan Reid for general tips.
