Shadow Fight 2 is one of my favourite games from my childhood, just like Crossy Road. I have been playing this game for so long, and yet I still haven’t finish it! I lost my previous account so now I’ve made another one to try to finally finish the game. This is a 1v1 fighting which is fun to play and quick to pick up and put down so you can play while killing time.
In this game, you play a samurai. You will need to fight and win against every enemy you encounter in the world. Before the events of the game, your character finds a gate to the ‘Dark World’. When you open it, seven monsters emerge from the Dark World, taking everything from you and turning you into a shadow. What you need to do in the game is fight against each of these monsters and take your body back. On the way, you will need to find better armour, so you will have to fight for a living – to earn money to buy better armour and weapons. There are seven chapters, divided across seven different maps.
When you play a map you need to finish the boss in the centre of the map. The challenge, the tournament and the survival mode help you earn more money to buy better weapons to fight the boss and their underlings. When you play, you will have to use a certain amount of energy (action currency). You can have up to five energy to spend at a time and it will refill every 15 min, but you can also watch ads to gain one energy token straightaway.
Weapons are very important too and there’s a huge range to choose from. In addition to weapon you will have long-range weapons such as darts or knives or even guns.
You also have various types of armour, helmets, and magical powers to choose from. You can also use certain types of items to enchant your armour and weapon. I recommend you become familiar with the ‘element’ power in particular because it deals a lot of damage on the enemy.
There are two types of money in this game: first is diamonds and second is conventional money. The currency you use will change when you go to a new map, the diamond you can only have when you watch ads, or buy it with your real-world money. Some special weapons can only be bought with diamonds.
This game is definitely a childhood game for people. Shadow Fight 2‘s release date was on August 9, 2013. With 40 million users Shadow Fight 2 was one of the most popular games back in 2013. Nowadays, not many people know about it anymore, but it will always be a legend.
Shadow Fight 2 is one of the games that has most kept my interest from among my childhood games. Even when you’re fighting against an AI opponent rather than a human player, it’s still very difficult and requires a high level of skill.
