Sols RNG : Gambling time

Sol’s RNG is a game based on pressing a button and hoping you get some “aura”, it’s entirely based on luck, as well as factors like time, weather, and gear you’re wearing!

Auras are mainly for aesthetics and can be used to make gear to get better auras; they do look nice I’ll give them that, but that’s really it. It’s hard to call it an actual game because all you ever do in the game is press a button. And goodness gracious to you if you ever press the W key in your life! People don’t even play the game mostly; they apply MACROS to do things for them aka, a robot that AUTOMATICALLY PRESSES THE BUTTON FOR THEM!

The game is also quite harmful to your computer as leaving your computer on for extended periods of time can damage it; I had learnt this the hard way on my old Windows 10 by only making it sleep and barely EVER shutting it down as it got slower and slower, though I’m not sure it’ll work on newer windows computers, macs or Linux, sols rng clearly isn’t great for your computer. Playing it for 5 minutes caused the temperature of my laptop to go up to some 50 degrees Celsius.

Though I do understand how hard it is to make games like these, the effects are beautiful to watch, even if they’re just virtual.

An example of one of the auras called “GALAXY” is a 1 in a 5M chance, though the chances are quite skewed when you realise the gloves people wear to increase the chance aren’t shown in this, suggesting this is more of a 1 in 10 thousand chance instead of a million.

The most gameplay of this game is a short Obby, which activates a basic luck blessing for 30 seconds. It doesn’t do much when you’re as good as the guy who has a GALAXY or CELESTIAL DIVINITY!

The game lures players in by showing them really rare auras for milliseconds and then gives them a bad aura like “common” or “good”, which suck if we’re being honest.

I have my own aura, Topaz, which is okay, I guess; it’s the best I have (my laptop screams when I play this game. Do you EXPECT ME to have a good aura?); it says 1 in 150, but I’m getting a 25% luck boost from my glove, so it’s more of a 1 out of 90 if they did show that though, not as many people would be playing after finding out their 1 in a million aura is actually 1 in 65 thousand.

Their community is also incredibly toxic; I’ve seen a video where the person gives good statements on bad games and why they suck, and when Sol’s RNG comes, it turns out Sol’s RNG peeps were NOT happy, so in the next video they proceed to send death threats to the person as shown in the images he has shown, and one threatening to dox them, it’s not the worst I’ve seen for sure, but it’s BAD…

In conclusion, Sols RNG is a bad influence, especially on kids who can be manipulated by BRIGHT COLORS; I’m not saying too much dopamine is bad, but younger kids (preferably under the age of 13) can be turned hostile and get into real gambling once they get invested in the game, which is bad for them and their device, thanks for reading! ^v^
