League of Legends is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game. In 2019, the game regularly peaked at eight million concurrent players. The first game was developed in 2009, and it is still popular today, proving that the game is playable and fun. Every year there are hero updates, new skins, and new equipment. It also has an annual competition with every game attracting attention and views.
In the game, two teams of five players fight in a player-versus-player battle with each team occupying and defending their half of the map. The players take control of their chosen characters at the start of the match to battle against the enemy. Each character has unique skills plus passivity and can carry two player skills to help their character. Games usually last 15 to 50 minutes. There is no restriction on where the player can go within the game. But going that route has something to do with the career you started with. In this game, player communication is essential. This is a game that tests the player’s teamwork. In the game, there are five routes to choose from: up, middle, down, jungle and auxiliary. Players will fight enemies online.
Minions are a vital resource in the opposing line. They refresh from start to finish. Players, while killing them, gain economy after returning to the spring to buy equipment. Kill the opponent with the advantage of the equipment. When the enemy player is killed, you can follow the minions to attack the defence tower and push to base camp; that way, you won’t be harmed by the towers. A fifth champion, known as a “Jungler”, farms the jungle monsters and, when powerful enough, assists their teammates in a line.
Jungler is the part of the Summoner’s Rift that is not occupied by lines or team bases, including the river that divides it, so Jungler is a unique line in the game. Jungler needs to go to their farms and kill the monster; they are neutral creatures, but the monster will attack the closest champion if they are damaged. Jungler needs to kill the monster to get buff (blue buff and red buff – blue buff can restore health, and red buff can get more significant damage) and money.
There are two unique monsters on the map, Baron and Dragon. Dragon has four Elements: fire, wind, stone, and water. Your team will get a dragon buff until you finish the match if you get the dragon. (Fire can get more damage, wind can make faster, stone can true defence, water can restore health). Baron is the most crucial monster, an epic monster with many teams threatening attacks and destroying the monster gives the Hand of Baron buff to living members of your team. This enhances the power of close allied minions.
