Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a 2019 action-adventure game developed by Software. Also, it is the best game of the year, and it is my favorite action game. Sekiro is a game about Japan’s fictional Warring States Period. I was fascinated by the story and the fight system. This is a tough game. The player needs to control the character Sekiro to save Master Kuro and help him to finish the mission. If you’re impatient, it’s not the type of game for you.
When the story starts, a homeless orphan is adopted by a giant ninja called Owl. The Owl gives him the name Wolf. Owl teaches Sekiro ninja skills and trains him. After twenty years, Wolf becomes a qualified ninja. Owl lets him protect the master, Kuro. Kuro is a special person. He’s immortal. Three years earlier, Wolf was defeated by the enemy while protecting Kuro, and to keep him alive, Kuro let the Wolf inherit his blood so that he also gained immortality. With the elderly Ishin ill and the Interior Ministry dedicated to unifying Japan looming, Ashna is on the verge of collapse. To save his family, Ishin’s adopted grandson, Genichiro, searches for the immortal divine heir Kuro, hoping to use the legacy of the dragons in his blood to create an immortal army. Wolf fights Genichiro but loses Kuro and his left arm. However, the Wolf is immortal, survives and is discovered by a retired ninja known as the Sculptor. The Sculptor returns the Wolf to health and gives him a prosthetic arm. Then he sets out to save Kuro and assists him in finding a way to stop immortality…
When the game begins, your task is to rescue Kuro from the tower, and of course, the Wolf is newly awakened and unarmed. You need to talk to the soldiers to find the location, but of course, you need to sneak in so you don’t get caught. After saving Kuro, he came to the door according to his guidance and met Genichiro, grandson of Kensei Ashna. Genichiro longed for Kuro’s deathless power to fight against the Yutsufu Army and protect his family. So to just play, you will go through the plot to kill, by Genichiro cutting off the left hand. When Wolf wakes up, he is saved by a sculptor. The first elite monster you encounter is the Red Ghost, many new players give up here. But you can get through if you attack from a distance.
The game has four endings. In the game, you must use precision skills to defeat the enemy. It may cause many deaths, but you can find a solution with patience and concentration. That’s why I like this game the most. When playing other games, the characters become stronger, but in Sekiro, the player gains strength as their skills improve. Each opponent seems strong, but there are different ways to play; mastering their rhythm lets you find flaws. The most important thing is patience.
