I’m going to call Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DBX2 from now on in DBX2 you make a CAC you chose form the five races: Saiyans, Namekian,  Majin, Freeze-race, Earthlings. They all have different movesets as well as skills. You have melee skills like super mad dance where you kick the opponent, and if you hit them, you send them flying and  then teleport in front of them and kick them again with a final kick. You also have Ki skills like the Kamahamaha it is a blue beam that you can charge and ultimate the skill for ending the fight. One example is the spirit bomb, a massive ball of Ki that you throw at the enemy. That is not all you also have counters. That you use for hitting your enemy back.

Awaken Skills, otherwise known as transformations, like Super Saiyans, the meat and potatoes of Dragon Ball, multiply your stats by a set amount. This is similar to Naruto To Boruto Shinobi strikers with a story mode. This game is great if you are a Dragon Ball fan. It has a story mode where you fight through Dragon Ball Z, and it has supers and the customising! With that said, it is not perfect. It misses a lot of things that fans love but you can always mod it on PC. This adds a lot of things that are missing, like forms, character’s auras, different move sets, new outfits, hair and eyes, but you do lose all the online content. Which is okay as it lags and hit boxes are strange because there are moments where you thank you miss but it hits, and a lot of content is locked behind DLCS. Get this game if you love Dragon Ball but wait into it is on sale.
