Did you like Splatoon 2 or 1? Do you want more? Well, look no further because Splatoon 3 is coming to Nintendo Switch next year! LET’S GO!
The game will take place one and a half years after the Splatocalypse in Splatoon 2 in a new place far away from a place called Inkopolis which is also from Splatoon 2.
Splatoon 3 was first announced in the recent Nintendo Direct, a video showing Nintendo news, like new games, DLC, etc. And Splatoon 3 was one of those announcements!
Splatoon 3 will be like the other two games, but it is still different in its own way. You first start off choosing your Inkling and customising it. E.g., eyes, hair, gender, and more. You even get your own pet and you can customize its hair, cool! You then walk around and get on a train; this train takes you to a new town square called Splatsville in a region called Splatlands. Here you can buy things like weapons, shirts, shoes, and hats. It is also where you will be able to ready up for battles against other players where you will be on a team of four and you must splash ink everywhere, but you can also eliminate players and cover their ink. It is fun! The matches have different maps that have their own unique style. There will even be a campaign.
A new spawn point will spawn you into the map, and this spawner is called the Spawn Drone.
So, Splatoon 3 will come out in 2022, so be patient, but the wait will be worth it. Getting to splash ink everywhere, it’s going to get messy. The game will also have features that the last two will not.
Let us hope that Octolings will come to the game, too. (Octolings are Inklings but octopi)
